Hip-Hop Rumors: Lil’ Wayne Threatens A Lawyer And More Bizarre Behavior On His Deposition Video

lil-wayne

Lil’ Wayne truly doesn’t give a damn what people think or say about him. He marches to the beat of his own drum, and authority means nothing to him. We’ve seen Weezy act a little erratic in plenty of interviews and even on stage; however, in a new deposition video that has recently been revealed, the rapper takes being an “alien” to a whole other level.
Weezy was filmed for a deposition stemming from the rappers lawsuit against filmmaker, Quincy Jones III (QD3), who is the son of music legend Quincy Jones. QD3 shot a documentary on the life of Lil’ Wayne, and Weezy was not happy with the “scandalous portrayal” of himself. The rapper ended up filing a lawsuit against QD3 for unlawfully using his music in the doc.
In the deposition, Weezy refuses to answer any questions, and the questions he does answer are given with a sarcastic and, at times, hilarious tone.
“I don’t know,” Wayne says when asked if he performed at the Virgin Mobile Music Fest in 2008. “But I know I did perform at this bad ass bitch birthday party recently. She was crazy, stupid thick.”
After repeatedly stating “I don’t know” and “I don’t recall” in response to a series of basic questions regarding his recent prison sentence and various legal infractions, Wayne eventually puts his hooded head down and appears to sleep. Then, when he preemptively answers a question and is scolded by the judge, he responds randomly, “I’m sorry, that’s my psychic,” tapping his head.
Eventually, Wayne loses his temper, boldly threatening the lawyer, Pete Ross, in front of the judge.
“You know he can’t save you, right? In the real world, he can’t save you,” Tha Carter IV creator declares. “I don’t have to elaborate.”
You can’t make this stuff up. Take a look at the video below. I guarantee it will make you laugh.

Hip-Hop Rumor Exclusive: Is Meek Mill Going To Star In A Reality Show With His Baby Momma?

MEEK MILL

If Meek Mill gets his way, you may be seeing him and his baby momma on a TV screen near you. The rapper certainly has a lot of out of the box experiences that could make for good reality TV; but, according to an exclusive source, the show would be based on Meek’s home life and not his life as a rising superstar.
The Philly rapper is not shy about revealing his many issues with the mother of his toddler son, and often blasts her on social networking sites. Case in point, just earlier this week Meek went H.A.M. on his baby mother and exposed her for blowing through $11K in under 30 days. Meek posted the following message on Instagram – “My baby mom a true bum. I gave her 11k within 30 days and she still had a nerve and call me about some papers!”
This is not the first time that Meek has spewed cyber venom toward his baby momma and it probably won’t be the last. Meek also confesses that his relationship with his homeboys are no longer the same because they all want something from him now that he’s on.
Our source says, “Meek is a straight street n*gga, and he wants to show the world that you don’t have to change when you taste success. He’s ready to show the good, the bad and the ugly of his home life.”
We hear that Meek is still in the beginning stages of the filming process, but has been getting some push back from MMG.
“Rozay is not so into the idea, but he’ll come around. He thinks that Meek will turn into some reality show novelty, instead of a serious rapper,” said the source.
Just recently, Meek Instagram’ed the message below. Could he be testing the waters to see if his fans are into the idea?
Would you watch a reality show based on Meek Mill’s home life? Should he really go forward with it, or would this be career suicide?

Hip-Hop Rumors: What Former Cash Money Alumni Will Re-sign?

Baby

The domination continues.
I am hearing from a reliable source that the empire created by Baby and Wayne are about to sign one of the best selling rappers from the original CM Records crew. Well? I can’t say just yet, but it is coming in the next two weeks.
Take a guess. Its very easy.

Really?

Hip-Hop Rumors: Is The Gay Community Out To Get Wayne?

lil-wayne

Interesting.
Lil Wayne is not gay. Lets be clear. He did kiss a man, which has lead to all sorts of talk. And now there is discussion on why he would – on “Turn On The Lights” remix – rap the lyric: “Tell her I skate/ I ain’t got no worries/ No Frank Ocean, I’m straight.”
RELATED: Hip-Hop Rumors: Diss Or Punchline – Lil’ Wayne Says “No Frank Ocean, I’m Straight”
Clever lyric or offensive for no reason. I guess it could be both. There is a paradox of Weezy being unworried, and straight aka being cool or OK. Still, the gay community is apparently up in arms over the comments. It harkens to the archaic notion that Hip-Hop is homophobic and stuff when we know that is not the case anymore. Right?
Everybody from Jay-Z to 50 Cent have accepted that Frankie Ocean is a cool addition to their music family. Anyway. What do you think of the lyric?
He better beware…the Pink Mafia is out there. And still making hits.

Maybe this will quell their issues.
the long kiss goodnight...

BET Reportedly Set To End Its 12-Year Run of “106 & Park” Next Week

Terrence J. And Rocsi

(AllHipHop News) After a 12-year stint on BET, the popular “106 & Park” show is reportedly set to end.
The announcement will likely come as a surprise to many, as the show recently launched a search for two new hosts to replace current hosts Rocsi Diaz and Terrence J.
According to Hip Hop Wired, the show made the announcement on Twitter today (September 19) via a message that was later deleted.
“We sadly announce that on September 28th, 2012, we will air our last episode,” the deleted tweet stated. There is no word if the deleted tweet signals a decision to hold off on the announcement for now.
Since 2000, BET’s “106 & Park” has been a mainstay in daily urban entertainment, attracting a mostly teen to young adult audience, and helping to launch the careers of previous hosts, AJ and Free.

Hip-Hop Rumors: Did Kim Kardashian’s Mother Son Kanye Over Sex Tape?

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian

Kris Jenner is not about that life.

She’s sick of Kanye West steadily yapping about Kim Kardashians explicit sex tape with Ray J. According to Radar Online, she stepped to the rappity rapper about it too. She has told Yeezy to stop opening his trap about the damn sex tape!!!!
Kanye recently revealed that he used to get off to the sex tape while he was with other girls. (EW. Its Ray J in there too, bro.) Anyway, also recently
Kanye YEEEZZZZZZZY rapped, “Eat breakfast at Gucci/My girl a superstar all from a home movie,” on “Clique.”
“Kris had stern words with Kanye when she saw that he said he would put Kim’s sex tape on while romping with other women. She thinks it’s a disrespectful claim and told Kanye to stop talking about it at every given opportunity. As far as Kris is concerned, the video with Ray J is history and since then Kim has become a reality TV star, a fashion designer, even a philanthropist—so she’s moved on. By bringing up the past, Kanye is making it worse for Kim, but he doesn’t see it as that much of a big deal,” the source added. “Kim is, however, caught in the middle. She wants her mom and Kanye to get along because she wants Kris to approve their marriage. She won’t if Kanye keeps doing things like this.”
To Kris: SHUT YOUR BEAK!
Somebody WIFED your daughter, who DID have a sex tape and who is famous because of it. Dude is a top 5 rapper in the present day. You don’t see anybody wifing this CHICK do you?

F**K NO, SAYS LARRY FISHBOURNE!

And she’s better looking than Botox Kim.
So, be happy. Kim K has no talent, but has made major strides in her life based on a sex tape with Brandy bruva.

EXCLUSIVE: Webbie Denies Assault Charges Against Woman

Webbie

(AllHipHop News) Baton Rouge, Louisiana rapper Webbie was bonded out of jail and has categorically denied charges that he assaulted a woman on September 13.
Police in Baton Rogue charged the rapper, born Webster “Webbie” Gradney, Jr, with battery and robbery.
Initial reports claimed that Webbie assaulted the woman in a hotel in Baton Rogue.
In a statement released to AllHipHop.com today (September 14), reps for Webbie’s label Trill Entertainment said the rapper denied all charges levied against him.
“We do understand early morning September 13, 2012 our artist rapper Webster “Webbie’ Gradney, Jr was arrested in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, for battery and robbery allegations. He has now been bonded out and at this present time denies all claims and allegations brought against him.”
Earlier today, a lawyer for the unnamed woman released a statement saying initial reports were greatly exaggerated.
Contrary to recent media reports and what can only be described as an exaggeration of actual events, ‘Webbie’ (Webster Gradney, Jr.) did not ‘brutally’ attack my client and, fortunately, my client did not suffer injury requiring medical attention. The ‘robbery’ was unfortunately a non-malicious attempt, by the accused, to deny the woman resources he had given her to leave the city, via air transportation, following their domestic argument. The accused did not ‘meet’ my client at a party but rather they had been residing together, off and on, for more than 18 months. Though a rocky relationship, my client and Mr. Gradney spent the evening together after being separated briefly. The early morning assault is domestic related and should be treated as such. While neither my client nor I condone acts of violence, especially domestic, we will not conspire with the media or officials to paint an inaccurate picture of Mr. Gradney or the events.
“We will not conspire with anyone to deliberately destroy Mr. Gradney’s reputation, life and/or career,” the woman’s lawyer said. “Neither my client nor this case should be used as a tool to send another ‘black rapper’ to prison for any other case or charge that is unrelated to these events. Both parties want nothing more than to move beyond this matter. It’s an unfortunate situation and my client will, however, cooperate with officials as required by law.”
Today (September 14), the woman who remained nameless, they expressed to Webbie that they also deny any and all allegations brought against Mr. Gradney.
“Webbie would also like to go on record saying he does apologize to his family first and fans for this unfortunate misunderstanding; Thank you for all the support,” Webbie’s reps said.

Hip-Hop Rumors: Looks Like Fabolous Is Dissing Lil’ Wayne On His New Song!

Fabolous

So, last night Funky Flex dropped a bomb on the new Fabolous song and its called “So NY.” And in it, he seemed to have some worlds for the lil one from YMCMB. “I’m so New York Weezy probably don’t like me,” he says repeatedly after a verse that speaks on a number of matters. He refers to gun charges and whatnot. You should just listen for yourself. Its definitely a small time thing. Wondering if Wayne regrets saying he doesn’t like the birthplace of Hip-Hop.

Hip-Hop Rumors: Which Hard Core Rapper Is Turning To God?

DMX

Well, there are actually two hard core rappers that are turning to GOD on their next albums. DMX is fresh off of the release of his seventh studio album, Undisputed, which is in stores now, and the rapper is already planning his next album. DMX has confirmed to MTV’s RapFix that his next album will be a Christian album. The rapper, who is highly religious, told AllHipHop.com that he also plans on turning his life over to the church in the near future and will stick to it and not flip flop like some other rappers out there.
Rapper #2 is a huge surprise as this rapper never really speaks about GOD in his music and usually beefs with other artists. In a recent interview with Jenny Boom Boom, West Coast rapper GAME has revealed that he has found a new faith in GOD, and it is all thanks to Kanye West!

The rapper has revealed that his new album will be called Jesus Piece, and it will be a Christian album. Check out what he said below:
“I’m calling it Jesus Piece cause last year in August I got baptized and so I’ve been going to church, but I still been kinda doing me out here. I still love the strip club and I still smoke and drink. I’m faithful to my family, so I wanted to make an album where you could love God and be of God, but still get it poppin’ in your life.”

“I called in Kanye and he gave me some ideas and we had done a song called ‘Jesus Piece’ on my original album and so once I switched the title, I just kept that song and ‘Celebration,’ and I then redid all the rest of the songs to fit the concept of Jesus Piece.”
That’s pretty dope! I think Hip-Hop fans are ready for a different genre of music to start making the Billboard charts. How many times can one stand to hear “Pop That” and songs of that nature on the radio? Don’t get me wrong, I love to party to that type of music, but sometimes a little inspiration in your music is good for the soul!

You can check out GAME’s full interview below, where he also talks about his new reality show and how he and his wife go “ham” on the show, interesting!

Will you be watching GAME’s new reality show when it drops later this year?

Memorial services for Lil JoJo took place at the Jones Funeral Home in Chicago. According to the Chicago Tribune, police had to clear the funeral home, when the rapper’s casket was nearly knocked over during the services. After police cleared the funeral services, they received a “shots fired” call along the funeral procession. Hip-Hop Rumors: Meek Mill And Roc Nation Beefing Already?!

MEEK MILL

MMG rapper Meek Mill just signed a management deal with Roc Nation in May, and it looks like there may already be trouble in paradise. Although Roc Nation has just scored Meek a lucrative endorsement deal with Skull Candy, the rapper blasted the management company on his Twitter account, calling them “dumb.” Check out his tweet below:

Meek’s beef with Roc Nation stems from a performance at a nightclub he was booked for in Brooklyn. We hear security was not up to par, and although Meek was in the venue, he was forced to forfeit his performance.
Instead of being upset with the club, Meek lashed out at his management company over Twitter. As you know, Roc Nation is owned and operated by Jay-Z. I wonder how he feels about Meek Mill essentially calling him a “dumb ass?”

Hip-Hop Rumors: Gucci Mane, Beyonce, Fails And Random Other Crap!

Gucci Mane

GUCCI GETS OFF EASY!
If you push somebody out of a moving car, you are probably going to pay a steep price. Gucci Mane…not so much. Here is what TMZ is saying:
Gucci Mane learned the hard way … DO NOT shove a woman out of a moving Hummer … because that woman will sue you and then a judge will order you to cough up almost $60,000 in punitive damages.
Gucci was arrested in 2011 after he allegedly pushed a woman named Diana Graham out of a moving Hummer — all because she refused to go to a hotel room with him. He pled guilty to several charges and was sentenced to six months in jail.
Diana then sued the rapper for damages following the incident … claiming mental anguish, pain and emotional distress.
A Georgia judge recently ruled in her favor … a default judgement because Gucci failed to show up in court and submitted false testimony. The judge awarded Diana $58,161.24 for medical expenses, lost wages, pain and suffering.
The judge also signed an order allowing Diana to go after the rapper’s cars, bank accounts and other assets to settle her debt.
Calls to Gucci’s rep have not been returned.
BEYONCE AND AN KIM: NO BEEF!
According to the Huffington Post, there is and wasn’t ever any beef between Beyonce and Kim Kardashian. As you recall, they were saying that B had to son Kim at the Made In America tour for trying to get chummy with director Ron Howard. They report:
A source who knows both Kim Kardashian and Beyonce tells The Huffington Post, “Anyone who knows Kim can tell you that she doesn’t even talk like that. She never saw Ron Howard that day and no such conversation ever took place — between Kim and Ron Howard or Kim and Beyonce. Beyonce and Kim have gotten along perfectly since the very first day that they met. They have no reason to not get along. The person who came up with this story has a very wild imagination.”
SHAQ TO DO…COMEDY?

SNOOP DEFENDS OBAMA! This ain’t no rumor, but Snoop Lion took a moment to defend the Pres while promoting his reggae album. “I mean Bush [screwed] up for eight years. It ain’t like y’all gave him a clean house,” explained Snoop, all in white, from toe to tam. “Y’all gave him a house where the TV didn’t work, the toilet was stuffed up – everything was wrong with the house.” Mitt Romney about to take that L. Sad…BUT STUPID! A dude was freaking driving drunk and tweeted “YOLO” before crashing his car, killing four others. Man. Wow. The full report and then the tweets: ONTARIO, Calif. (KABC) — Five people were killed in a car accident in Ontario after the driver blew through a red light early Sunday morning. According to Ontario police, a 2005 Nissan Sentra was traveling southbound on Haven Avenue, when it ran a red light. The car lost control and hit a wall along the west side of Haven Avenue, coming to rest in the rear yard of a house. The incident happened at about 1:41 a.m. on Haven Avenue, south of Creekside Drive. Four people inside the Nissan were pronounced dead at the scene. Another occupant was transported to an area hospital but was later pronounced dead. The identities of the crash victims were not released, pending family notification.

Non Hip-Hop Rumors: Fame Destroys French Montana’s Marriage! Jay-Z Not “Occupying” Jack!

French Montana

I saw this and just couldn’t believe it. This dude French Montana ended his marriage because of fame and video vixens. LOL! No, actually that’s not even funny. I never even knew he was married.
“Man I couldn’t do it, that’s why we got separated. At first it was smooth, but then as much as people think that money changes you, it’s changing them around you. A person ain’t gonna treat you the same now that they think that you think you somebody.”
“You around so many beautiful women, that’s a conflict too. It’s just about finding somebody that understand the game, what you’re into. But then on the flip side of the coin, you gotta understand their game, what they into…There’s a flip side to everything.”
Best wishes with your damn VIXENS!
SourceBoombox
SPEAKING OF VIXENS…
I’ve been informed that my old friend Liris Crosse has a Monday Night Football event in NYC that I have NOT been invited to. But…here is the info. Perhaps I will show up! The info is below along with some stuff about Jay-Z!
JAY-Z KNOCKS OCCUPY WALL STREET
I have to agree with Jay-Z on this one. The Occupy Movement was embraced by many-a-hip-hop head, but I never fully got it. Now, that is seems to be petering out, Jay-Z is talking about it in a recent interview with the New York Times.
“What’s the thing on the wall, what are you fighting for?” Jay-Z told The New York Times.
Furthermore, in an unwittingly humorous remark, Jay-Z quipped about the hippy-like nature of the movement.
“I’m not going to a park and picnic — I have no idea what to do. I don’t know what the fight is about. What do we want? Do you know?”
He also said that the Occupy Movement just hates all rich people, which he wasn’t with. I think Jay-Z is a pretty cool rich dude. Despite those (now old) Illuminati rumors, he’s seems pretty on point as a person. This is from somebody that’s never met him, but I’m just saying.
Now, I’m wondering what made him create that “Occupy All Streets” shirt. Now, it seems like a diss.
I guess streets is Watching, but just not Occupying.

EXCLUSIVE: Usher, Producers Accused Of Stealing Hit Single “Caught Up”

Usher

(AllHipHop News) A group of songwriters has filed a lawsuit against Usher, Arista Records and the producers of the hit single “Caught Up.”
Zacharia L. Edwards, Mitch Moses and Vince McLean filed the lawsuit on September 7 in United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
The songwriters claim they wrote the musical composition for “Caught Up,” which consisted of original material.
The lawsuit claims that in October 2002, the trio met with Michael Barackman, senior director of A&R at Arista Records.
They played the music Barackman, who wanted to play the song for L.A. Reid and Mark Pitts, who were looking for material for Usher’s new album.
In 2004, Usher’s album Confessions was released with substantial similarities to the original version, according to the complaint.
When Moses and McLean brought it to the attention of representatives of the label, they were allegedly threatened with being black balled from the music industry.
“An ordinary lay observer could listen to the two musical compositions at issue, and given the theme, melody, hook, lyrics and chorus, reasonably find that the two songs are substantially similar and that and a friend and infringement has occurred,” the lawsuit reads.
Zacharia L. Edwards, Mitch Moses and Vince McLean are suing for copyright infringement and seek an undetermined amount of damages.
