Hip-Hop Rumors: Shots Fired! Gunplay Asks Saigon Some Rick Ross Questions!

Gunplay

I don’t know if there is much to see here, but I suppose its worth a mention. Saigon recently was on the promo trail for his new album The Greatest Story Never Told Chapter 2: Bread And Circuses and he said he wanted to punch rappers like Rick Ross and 2Chainz in the face for pushing negative messages to kids.
Well, after the interview, Rick Ross’ capo Gunplay – who is on house arrest – had some questions he posed in his how interview with HipHopWired.
“I got a son too, Ross got a daughter, Ross got a son. I dare you to do that sh*t…To each his own, if that’s how he feel… try to punch him in the face. You saying this [but] you’re tryna punch somebody in the face? I’m sayin’, what’s wrong with dog? I don’t know what’s up with that sh*t…Why you goin’ in on Ross? Go in on everybody else. You just singling out two people ‘cuz they the hottest n*ggas in the game right now. Why you singling them out? Everybody has kids, what makes yours so special?”
I don’t know why this is even worthy of commentary. I guess I’m a bit disappointed, because Gunplay wasn’t his usual crazy self. Maybe, he can’t get hyped up on that white girl in the house? I don’t know!
Anyway, Sai has since fallen off of his original words of wanting to punch folks in the face.
“I say them things on purpose. If U notice I say people names at the end of the interview. In my mind Im thinking I just dropped a deep interview but I have to say some super ignorant Isht to bring people to even watch it so I said a name or 2… I just been doing this for a while and I understand how the Hip Hop media works..I hope those 2 guys understand it was simply a strategy and not personal at all.. Though I DONT agree with their content. I do not want to cause them any harm or see them harmed.”
What do you think about his reasoning?
“Diamonds” remix with Kanye West. This was kind of “eh” to me.

Hip-Hop Rumors: Kanye West Was WHERE This Weekend And Doing WHAT?

Kanye West

Mannnnnnnnnnnnnnn I SUCK! Guess what happened over the weekend!? First, let me tell you. Delaware is the second smallest state in the USA. So, over the weekend guess who popped up at the local BOWL-A-RAMA in my state? Kanye West! The northern part of the state was on fire! Here is what some people said:
@CinnaBUNGY (rynae.) – Wait, what was Kanye doing in Delaware & why did he stop at Bowlerama of ALL places?
RT @im_kwalker: So Kanye West was at bowlerama in Delaware and I ain’t kno about it…I woulda gassed up the Honda and went right up there
RT @banganobreaks: Kanye west in Delaware ! #saynomore
Anyway, I was definitely one of the late ones. I went and got there too damn late. Anyway, you know Kanye has family in the First State. He also attended graduation at the University of Delaware a couple years ago to see one of his fam walk.
Pretty cool.
From what I understand, Yeezy did a good deed that I cannot speak on. But a good deed is just that, whether or not we talk about it.
Shout out to YEEZY!
Shout out to Delaware!

Hip-Hop Rumors: Guess What Producer Mos Def Is Doing A Whole Album With?

Mos Def

So, I had a rumor that’s really true, but I’m going to hold off giving the real deal. You know, I see people consistently saying “That’s not a rumor, if its real” or whatever. People want me to post PURE RUMORS, as if there is a such thing in the Twitter/Facebook era so I’m going to hold off…jerks.
Mos Def aka Yasiin Bey is working on an album…with a famed and acclaimed producer. I would say, because I know its true, but not, because then it would no longer be a rumor. Anyway, I will give a hint. The producer is from the South! This should make for an interesting combo indeed and I think could potentially make a great album.

Non Hip-Hop Rumors: RiRi Jacks CB! Kanye West Fights To Buy His Own Sex Tape!

Rihanna

Chris Brown and Rihanna have denied that they are dating again. At least, CB wants people to just mind their business. Nevertheless, the two of them continue to dominate headlines and general f**kery. This time, it seems that Rihanna has stolen a song from Chris Brown. A DJ that produced the song, explained:
“I have a record, maybe. She wanted a song I produced. It’s a song I originally recorded with Chris Brown called ‘As Your Friend,’ but I am not supposed to say anything about it just yet because the papers aren’t signed. But the music is there, and it’s a really dope song.
When it comes to that music, RiRi don’t play play. She’s got the number 1 song out in these streets.

OH BOY YEEZY!
Kanye West has a sex tape. That’s bad. Real bad. Micheal Jackson.
Dag. I forgot all about that. Anyway, it looks like Kanye will have to buy back his own sex tape to keep it from hitting stores. According to Perez Hilton, the company even owns the copyright on the tape. How can that be? I mean, if I want to do a movie or documentary about Kanye, I need his permission, don’t I? These people find or steal a sex tape and there is a buy back? Here is what Perez is reporting.
“Kanye’s camp has been negotiating for the sex tape so he can buy back the copyright and it’s never released. The problem is that adult entertainment companies are offering huge amounts of money for rights to the tape, so Kanye and his team are working overdrive trying to work something out.”

Hip-Hop Rumors: Serena Williams Goes In On Common’s New Girlfriend On Twitter!

Common and Serena Williams

Common is allegedly in hot water with his former flame, Serena Williams, because of his new girlfriend and her Twitter-stalking ways. Serena went H.A.M. on Twitter yesterday, blasting Common’s new lady friend and referring to her as a “boy” because sources say that Serena allegedly thinks that Common’s girlfriend looks like a man. Really, Serena!!! Have you looked in the mirror lately?
Anyway, Mediatakeout snatched a screen shot of the tweets before Serena deleted them from her timeline. Check them out below:
Serena refers to Common as “The Bread” in her tweets probably because he’s the breadwinner in his new relationship and his new girlfriend is probably broke. Check out a few photos of Common and his new boo. Does she look like a man to you?

Hip-Hop Rumors: Is Chris Brown Suing Drake Over The Club Brawl?

Chris Brown

Chris Brown has had a no-interview policy for a while now, but it looks like Breezy is falling back on his rule and accepting interviews. The talented singer recently did a radio interview with “Big Boy’s Neighborhood” in L.A. and finally addressed the opportunity to fight Drake for charity. Even though Breezy said he couldn’t talk about it, he still implied that if he could, he would most certainly knock Drake the hell out. Check out what he said below:
“The only reason I can’t talk about it is because we’re dealing with legal stuff. You know I’m trying to get paid and not trying to give out no information,” Brown said in an interview referring to the Drake incident. “We don’t talk about other guys. We just focus on the music. [Was it more of us hitting one another?] Nah. It’s none of that. I’m more reserved and I box, so it would have been none of that. You know exactly what that means. [laughs]“
It’s pretty interesting that Chris Brown said that he’s “trying to get paid” – does that mean that Breezy is suing Drake over the club brawl? It sure sounds that way to me.  I guess instead of giving Drake physical pain, Breezy is trying to hurt his pockets.
Sidenote – Breezy also spoke about going to the Barclay’s Center with Rihanna to see the Jay-Z concert. Rumors were swirling that Jay-Z had a stern talking to Breezy and threatened to end his career….
According to Chris Brown, although he did talk to Jay-Z in the green room at Barclay’s, Jay never threatened him.
“No. No. No. Me and him had…It just was a lot of people,” says Brown. “It’s like a green room, backstage, you come and say what up to everybody and it was cordial…It was real respectful. It was nothing like that.”
You can catch the entire interview below, where Breezy also answers a question about who he would take to a deserted island with him , Karrueche or Rihanna. His answer is pretty interesting, check it out below:
