(AllHipHop News) Business mogul 50 Cent recently revealed plans for his latest venture, SMS Promotions, a new boxing company that has officially been granted a promoters license by the Nevada State Athletic Commission.
Earlier in the year, SMS Promotions was also granted a license in New York, paving the way for 50 Cent’s new company to compete in the boxing arena on a major level.
“I love boxing and have always been a big fan of the sport, so it feels especially great for me to be involved with the game at this level. My goal is to build SMS Promotions into one of boxing’s most respected promoters and bring the best fights to audiences nationwide,” Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson said.
50 Cent and SMS Promotions have teamed with Bob Arum’s Top Rank Promotions to promote Yuriorkis Gamboa’s upcoming fight with a to-be-determined fighter on the Pacquiao-Marquez IV undercard on December 8, 2012.
The bout will be broadcast live on HBO Pay-Per-View from the MGM Grand Garden Arena, in Las Vegas.
50 Cent is already promoting the brand aggressively to his 807,000 followers on Instagram.
This morning (November 17), 50 Cent posted a picture of himself standing with Oscar De La Hoya’s son.

Hip-Hop Rumor Exclusive: Will Diddy Try To Mediate The Rick Ross And Jeezy Beef?

Over the weekend, Diddy announced that Jeezy is the newest Ciroc Boy. To celebrate, Diddy put together a shindig christening Jeezy’s partnership with the brand that included a cake and, of course, plenty of Ciroc.
One has to wonder what this will do for Diddy’s relationship with one of his original Ciroc Boys, Rick Ross. As you know Jeezy and Rozay had a little altercation with each other at the BET Hip-Hop Awards.

Well, now that the two men are both under the Diddy- Ciroc umbrella, we hear that Diddy has taken it upon himself to mediate the situation between the two rappers. According to our source, Diddy has spoken to both artists about bearing the hatchet and calling a truce.
Man, if 50 Cent and Fat Joe can do it, why can’t these two.

Chris Brown and Drake Sued for $16 Million in Manhattan Bottle Throwing Brawl

Drake and Chris Brown and Rihanna

(AllHipHop News) According to documents filed in New York’s Manhattan Supreme Court, Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. has filed suit for $16 million in damages resulting from the fight involving Chris Brown and Drake.
In a recent article in the New York Post detailing the suit, Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. states that both Chris Brown and Drake “shared a grudge against the other arising out of their romantic relationships with the same woman,” Rihanna, and when they “crossed paths,” they “began to fight violently with each other.”
The suit also states that, “each arrived with his own small army of bodyguards, ‘security’ personnel, employees, friends and other members of their entourage, consisting of at least 15 heavily built men trained and/or experienced in hand-to-hand and weapons combat.”
Both entourages are said to have “fashioned deadly weapons out of whatever materials they could find, including glasses, alcohol bottles and furniture, thereby circumventing the nightclubs’ extensive efforts to ensure a safe environment.”
As well, the article states that Entertainment Enterprises is filing suit because it owns the trademark on the Greenhouse name outside of New York, and that it had negotiated a $4 million deal to license the name in place until the melee ruined negotiations.
Neither Drake nor Chris Brown has been formally charged in the incident, but the suit is officially being filed for”gross negligence,” “ultrahazardous activity,” and “intentional illegal acts.”
More news as details emerge.
