Last night, down in the DC area, 50 Cent participated in some Radio One bowling event. I’m not sure of all the details, but the man was seen wearing Gunplay’s MMG chain. What in the world is 50 thinking? This has to be bad for the game, because…ahhhhhh…. I know Ross is not feeling this kind of beef. Back when they were beefing, Ross didn’t fully engage with Fif head on. It was more slick talk and work ethic. Here is the video of 50 bowling and you can see the chain.

Oh and 50 Cent went in on French Montana after he said beef doesn’t work like when Fif did it in Complex magazine.

Hip-Hop Rumors: French Montana Calls 50 Cent A “Swagless Monkey” – Rick Ross Chimes In!!

It looks like we officially have another rap beef on our hands. 50 Cent went after French Montana on Twitter yesterday, calling him “weak” and a “h*e” – check out his tweets below:

You didn’t think Frenchie was just going to sit there and take that, did you? The Bronx-bred rapper shot off insults towards 50 Cent, including calling him a “monkey,” something Rick Ross originated in the heat of his beef with 50 a few years back. Check out French Montana’s tweet below:

Rick Ross even got in on the Twitter beef, tweeting a subliminal tweet towards 50 Cent.

Well, apparently it was another comment about 50′s album sales that made 50 go off and set his targets on Montana. Check out an excerpt from the interview below:

Of course, Ross is on his fifth album,” Montana said, after being asked if Rozay will have a longer run than 50. “And like I said, he’s only getting bigger. This is going to be Ross’ first platinum album. He never went platinum. So when 50 came up, 50 sold 10 million. Then after his first album, he just kept on going down. You think 50 could come out and sell 10 million now?

“I feel like beef hurt him,” he added later. “I feel like it helped Ross unite people. That’s why Maybach Music is one of the biggest labels. It just makes sense.”

Ahh, okay – now I understand why 50 is upset. In the words of French, “It just makes sense” now, right?

Perhaps this new rap beef will reignite 50′s rap prowess, or maybe it will bury him into the rap abyss for good. What do you think?

Hip-Hop Rumors: Is Big Sean Trying To Steal The Game’s Album Title?

A few weeks ago, Game announced that he was going to name his upcoming album, Jesus Piece. Well, in a recent interview with XXL Magazine, Big Sean revealed that he had just recorded a track entitled “Jesus Piece” for his upcoming sophomore album, Hall of Fame: Memoirs of a Detroit Player. The new track features Nas and was produced by No I.D. Check out what Big Sean said about the track below:

“It’s a classic hip-hop song. We don’t just talk about Jesus pieces in general, we talk about Jesus pieces and the impact they had around the time in our life when we got our first Jesus pieces, or when we saw our idols with their Jesus pieces.”

So, did Big Sean steal this idea from Game, who had previously announced that Jesus Piece was going to be the name of his fifth studio album? Can we expect a Game diss towards Big Sean in the near future because of the duplicate name?

Meek Mill Launches 30-Date Tour With Rick Ross and Wale, Reveals “Dreams & Nightmares” Artwork, Track List

(AllHipHop News) Philly rapper Meek Mill has dropped the official cover art and track list for his highly anticipated album,Dreams and Nightmares.

Dreams and Nightmares features appearances by Maybach Music cohorts Rick Ross and Wale, while artists like Mary J. Blige, Drake and Nas support the rapper on his debut release.

“A lot of people have been shying away from the real rapping and hip-hop,” Meek stated. “I want to have a classic album, an Illmatic, [Vol.2...] Hard Knock Life, Get Rich or Die Tryin’ type, a Hip-Hop album.”

The album’s latest single “Young & Getting It,” is currently the most added single on urban mainstream radio.

Immediately following the October 30 release of Dreams and Nightmares, Meek Mill will launch a college/arena tour with Rick Ross and Wale, which kicks off November 2 in Columbus, Maryland.

Mike Muse: The Man Behind The President, The Man Behind The Music

With the election quickly approaching, those working closely with President Obama are also a pivotal part of history. The sacrifices they make aren’t as heard of, but just as important. Mike Muse is the CEO of Muse Recordings, but also on the National Finance Committee for the president. He wears many hats and exudes various ambitions and skills daily. Simply put, he’s an inspiration to many.

Since 2007, Muse has been on the journey with President Obama to evoke change, and help the people, all of the people. He recalls that his first time meeting the president as rather nerve-wracking, but explains that the experience as a whole has been nothing short of a blessing.

“I’m here to educate, help keep the momentum up, and show everyone how they can join this movement. Everyone has a place,” states the humble businessman. “Politics and music have a lot in common. Both have a way of changing and motivating, both play an instrumental part in everyone lives,” he also shares.

Muse’s life can seem quite daunting when juggling two careers, especially considering that one is of such high magnitude. Still, he feels if he’s not extremely busy and making an extreme impact, he’s simply not doing enough.

“My days get hectic but I find balance by prioritizing my daily goals and things I need to accomplish for the week. I’m simply not afraid of hard work. When you do two things you love, that becomes your passion,” is how he puts it. In his eyes, passion is truly what dreams are built off of. He is living his in hopes that others will follow suit.

Muse wants to be sure to send a message to the world that everyone can take ownership of this election: whatever you do well, use your skills to promote voting and activism. If you speak well, volunteer at a call center. If you are a designer, create your own t-shirts. Everyone has a role in the next four years the country is preparing for. He still recalls the drive and call to action in 2008, and he doesn’t want anyone to lose sight of the fact that all of that is needed right now.

For any young person seeking to take a big step, an aspiring entrepreneur, or anyone with a vision, Muse shares this advice: “There are three things I would tell anyone. First, don’t be afraid to fail. That’s the only way you will ever give 100%. Secondly, find a yes behind every no. Figure out why you got a no to begin with, and then figure out how to regroup and present yourself better after that. Finally, you have to have an incredible belief in self. If you don’t, who will?” 

Hip-Hop Rumors: Are Rihanna And Chris Brown About To Be The Next Jay And Bey?

After months of rumors, Rihanna and Chris Brown went public with their relationship earlier this week when it was reported that they were seen kissing, hugging, and dancing together at a NYC night club. According to the NY Post’s Page Six:

“They sat two tables away from each other. Chris made his way over to Rihanna. He raised his shirt and was dancing promiscuously. Then they started dancing together and hugging and kissing in front of everyone.”

Then Rihanna and Breezy did the cliche celebrity hook up move – they took it to the private bathroom. Observers say they were in there for a while and when Rihanna followed Chris out of the bathroom, “She seemed a little ruffled” a source said.

If you follow Rihanna or Chris Brown on Twitter, you’ll see that their fans are in support of their relationship and wish them well. I know they started out rocky, but with a little PR work, do you think these two could be the next “super couple” – in the same caliber as Jay-Z and Beyonce?

Rihanna is one of the most popular singers around and earns loads of money – plus, she makes hits! People are always comparing Rihanna to Beyonce, and Rihanna has improved her stage show dramatically and has incorporated choreography.

Chris Brown is super multi-talented, and if he stays on the straight and narrow, there will be a lot of opportunities coming his way. Remember, he can actually sing, he writes his own music, he’s a pretty decent rapper, he can act, he can draw, AND he is launching a clothing line. Plus, he has a toy line, too. My point is, he has that money earning potential just like Jay-Z.

So, I pose the question, can Rihanna and Chris Brown make it to the stature of Jay-Z and Beyonce?

Hip-Hop Rumor Exclusive: Will Diddy Try To Mediate The Rick Ross And Jeezy Beef?

Over the weekend, Diddy announced that Jeezy is the newest Ciroc Boy. To celebrate, Diddy put together a shindig christening Jeezy’s partnership with the brand that included a cake and, of course, plenty of Ciroc.

One has to wonder what this will do for Diddy’s relationship with one of his original Ciroc Boys, Rick Ross. As you know Jeezy and Rozay had a little altercation with each other at the BET Hip-Hop Awards.
